The aim of the apprenticeship scheme is to encourage and support perspective and established Coaches into developing their teaching abilities  alongside a skilled Coach Educator.

As the greater time allowed together with the opportunity for individual tuition the material covered goes far beyond the requirements of England Fencing and thus develops a far wider understanding of the work of a Fencing Coach. It is hoped that successful candidates will not only help in the Riposte Salle but establish new clubs of their own.

There is as such no set time limit and apprentices can work not only at their own pace but to the level they wish.

1. Download and read the introductory leaflet Becoming a Fencing Coach.

2. Download and print off the Coach Development Registration Form. Complete the form and send it to England Fencing together with a cheque for £40.00. They will then send you the course materials you need.
