Coach Education
The responsibility for coach education has now passed to the national bodies and the one for England is England Fencing. For fencers wishing to gain the status of qualified Fencing Coach or for coaches already qualified and wishing to increase their knowledge or level, a new national training scheme is currently being established. The requirements of the National Coaching Curriculum at each of the five levels are delivered through Regional Coach Educators and qualification is by the final assessment of a panel of examiners following a training course in the appropriate weapon.
